This map is not VRA compliant and appears to have partisan bias.
Ryan Reese
Map is not VRA complaint, just like the previous variant. The use of the hard boundary at 8 mile does not reflect demographic shifts of the last several decades. Only 10 Opportunity districts demonstrates VRA lack of compliance. The packing is obvious in districts adjacent to the proposed Gross Point waterfront district.

Likely not VRA compliant. Definitely not partisan fair. These are two extremely important factors.
Nomi Joyrich
This map does not have very many Black Opportunity Districts

I do not like that this map splits up the Cornerstone Village neighborhood into 2 districts. East English Village, Morningside, and Cornerstone are all part of one community along the E. Warren corridor.
Sydney LaDuke
I like that this proposed map keeps the neighborhood of East English Village (Cadieux --> E. Outer Drive/Whittier and Mack --> Harper) intact.
Lori Stone
Warren is the third largest city in Michigan, this maps creates districts that provide adequate representation for the community.
Cheryl Rottmann
This map has Madison Heights in with their neighbors and communities of interest.
Kristine McLonis
I like that Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge, Hazel Park, and Madison Heights are in the same district with this map. A portion of Huntington Woods is also part of that district; it should be with the rest of that city in District 6. Both Huntington Woods and Oak Park have a strong Jewish population and should be considered a community of interest.

This map does keep the long-standing COI between Harper Woods, Grosse Pointe Woods and Shores, and St. Clair Shores together, which is good. However, this map cuts the community of Grosse Pointe Park in half, which would disrupt our joint efforts in representation. The Grosse Pointe Communities and Harper Woods are small cities on the far Eastside of Wayne County with multiple overlapping interests and traditional concerns. A better map keeps these small communities together along with a portion of St. Clair Shores, a natural configuration.

Splitting Royal Oak Township---shameful. Speaking of splitting COI...
Robert Dindoffer
I do not prefer this district configuration for several reasons. First, it dillutes the Lakeshore Suburbs COI but cutting out St. Clair Shores residents and adding Harper Woods residents, who don't have the same connection to the lake. Second, it breaks up Cornerstone Village, which has its own COI with East English Village and Morningside.
