This proposed map is similar to the Motown Sound State House map in that here Ferndale and Royal Oak Township are included with a significant area of Detroit south of 8 Mile Road. I supported the Motown Sound map and like that Ferndale and Royal Township have a similar position here, although I believe that Oak Park and Hazel Park should be included in the same district here as are Ferndale and Royal Oak Township. Demographically, these four Oakland County cities are quite similar.
